to start them helping out around the house!
She's been helping with the dishwasher since she was 1, but it's fun to add to her chores.
It may not quite be done the way I'd do it, but that's okay.
Sunshine had the opportunity to clean their bathroom today. Washed the mirror, scrubbed the sink and counter, then swept the floor.

Christmas Day at Grandma Jo's
The girls did NOT sleep. I started chasing them back to bed starting at 11pm. At 3am I gave up and just tried to get a little sleep.
Flower Pink agreed with me that it was way too early.
Cute dish towels for me!

long sleeves for Hazel Mae
She would be happy to wear a dress every day. So naturally she was rather upset when I put away all the summer clothes leaving her with only two dresses to wear. Pulled out my ever favorite GYCT Holly and Ivy dress pattern and made this for her. I love it. I went up a few sizes on the sleeves so they'd be fuller and put elastic in at the wrists. It also has a 3 inch hem so fingers crossed she'll be able to wear it again next fall.

More Halloween
Sarah needed her Duck. So I made one up. I forgot how much I love making stuffed animals! Also made "Bag" for me as I was being scarf lady from the show as well.

Happy Halloween
Witch dress made from VFT Matilda pattern. Ghost costume was just whipped up out of my head, far from perfect, but she was happy with it.
Sarah costume made by my mom. Baby loves the show Sarah & Duck.Mouse costume - easiest costume ever, hello walmart sweats! Did whip up the cheese bag for her though.

Vintage dress sew a long
The Handmaiden's Cottage has started doing occasional vintage dress pattern sew a longs. Naturally I MUST join. This time I actually got one whipped up during the sew a long unlike the last one. She may never wear it again but fingers crossed one of her sisters will....
